Baby Wearing

Parents want to hold their babies all the time, but sometimes it just isn't possible, and other times our arms need a break. Wearing a pouch/carrier alleviates these problems. Not only can you have your hands free to do what you need to, but the pouch distributes the weight of the child across your shoulders and upper back, and if the child is older and worn lower on the hip, across the shoulders, back and hips.

Baby experts agree that babies who are worn thrive. Not only do they fuss less, putting more energy into growth and development, but they are happier and more secure, with a strong bond to the parent. A happy baby equals a happy mama and/or papa.

The pouch is usable from the time of your baby's birth, until he or she is a 35 pound toddler. It is incredibly versatile. You can nurse your baby in the pouch, wear baby to sleep, work in the home or office or go out and about with baby - for a walk, traveling out of town, to the supermarket, out to dinner, social gatherings - most people probably won't realize there is a baby in there. As baby gets older and bigger, you can change the carrying position to match baby's development. There are a variety of front carries where baby can sleep, nurse or just hang out, as well as hip carries and a back carrying position.
