This is an over the belly skirt that you pull on, there are no buttons or zippers which leaves a smooth tummy line which is great if you are wearing fitted tops. Inside elastic bands allows you to customize the fit of your pants throughout your nine month journey. Noppies skirts are also machine washable, no dealing with the dry cleaners.
Hitting about tea-length, the Amsterdam Bengalin Skirt is 38" long -- making this a wonderful skirt for those who need a little bit more conservative wardrobe.

Maternity fashions at national retailers are currently featuring cutsie minis and hippy dippy maxis which are fine for the weekend but will not go over well in a professional setting. I am thrilled to have found this well made, elegant black skirt that I a can wear to work, religious services, and out on the town. The fabric feels durable and the color (I got the black) is rich, not muddy or brownish. Looks great and feels comfy when sitting! Don't be put off by the length--it has an ample back slit and can be easily shortened.
